泰和興卷曲短纖維單絲強度可達16cN/dtex以上（比強度是優質鋼材的5～6倍、玻纖的3倍），單絲模量可達70Gpa，是特種紗線、特種防護面料及工業用高強的理想纖維材料。
耐高溫、阻燃性能：泰和興卷曲短纖維連續使用溫度範圍爲-196 ℃～ 204 ℃，起始分解溫度537℃，并且離開火焰後迅速熄滅，無熔滴，是理想的耐高溫、阻燃材料。
可紡性：泰和興卷曲短纖維是在長絲的基礎上，經卷曲加工，增加了纖維卷曲度，提高了纖維間的抱合力，适用于紡織及無紡制品等工藝加工，可按照客戶要求切成38mm~76mm。
Taparan® Staple Fiber
Taparan para-aramid staple fiber is cut from the crimped filament. Its tenacity can reach 16 Cn/dtex. It can work continuously at a temperature range of -196 ℃～ 204 ℃. Its decomposition temperature is 537℃. It does not melt or drip, and does not continue to burn when the flame is removed.
Due to above properties, Taparan staple fiber is widely used for making spun yarns, protective apparels, nonwovens and industrial products which require high strength, heat & flame resistance and cut resistance.
